This room has been created within this 300 year old barn, looking south over the garden. While this garden is alive with birdsong, chickens, ducks and ducklings, it is also packed with scented roses and other perennials.
The irako window, mahogany wall shelves, slate/oak basin unit, dressing table stools, suitcase wracks, headboards and curtains are amongst the items that have been custom-made for this suite by skilled, local craftsmen and women.
The super king/twin beds were chosen for their ultimate comfort. The high quality linen ensures blissful sleep. The furnishings exemplify a balance between classic and contemporary pieces with inherited family antiques, passed down through generations of the Wrey family.
Breakfast is always a special event and is served in the main farmhouse, beside a roaring fire in the inglenook fireplace.

The coral on green, printed linen, for the sumptuous curtains, was sourced from one of the top, international fabric houses, Marvic Textiles. The pelmet has a "butterfly, buttoned smock" design. The bed furnishings are created from another fabulously timeless Marvic Textiles' water-marked, stripe; its rich dyes blend perfectly with the print of the curtains.
The bathroom is modern and chic with all necessary comforts including a huge shower head and piping hot water.
This room is called "Vicenza" after a favourite town in northern Italy and from where many charming, Italian children have come, over the years, to Hollamoor to attend our Language School.
Children, dogs and horses are all welcome, and can be added as 'additional extras' during the online booking process. £20 per dog per stay (by prior arrangement), £20 per travel cot per stay, £18 per night for horses, and between £30 - £75 per night per extra child or adult sleeping on a floor mattress (depending on age).
