Breakfast is always a special event and is served in the main farmhouse, beside a roaring fire in the inglenook fireplace.
Wonderful location, a hidden oasis but Barnstaple and the beaches are not far away. All the staff were happy and greeted us warmly. The Full English was amazing (not suitable if your on a diet)...
The advantage of this room is that it is very private with its own front door and staircase. Its personal hall is also very useful for dog lovers (for their food and beds) and for those with little children (good place for buggies and other baby equipment). There is also masses for room for the travel cot upstairs.
Children, dogs and horses are all welcome, and can be added as 'additional extras' during the online booking process. £20 per dog per stay (by prior arrangement), £20 per travel cot per stay, £18 per night for horses, and between £30 - £75 per night per extra child or adult sleeping on a floor mattress (depending on age).
